I will shortly post to the conference a presentation from Rob Walker. Rob is
an independent consultant specialising in geographic information. He is a
member of the British Standards committee for Geographic Information
(IST/36), and convenor of an International Standards Working Group on
Geospatial data administration (ISO/TC 211 WG3).

This paper will be the last of the formal presentations from the GIS
profession.

Can I make a final call for any papers from the academic community? This is
an opportunity for you to let the professional heritage community know about
what uses you would like to make of the GIS data held by NMRs and SMRs, and
to present projects that might feed back into those records. If there is any
interest in this issue it will form the planned third strand of the
discussion. If you would like to post a presentation, please contact me off
list.
