At our recent Welsh User Group meeting we were told from the OIC that the IC
has decided that Council Tax data could be shared within the Authority as
long as no-one complained ! This totally goes against what we were told
before. One assumes that if you disclose to Grants because they want to tell
you you are entitled to £ 30,000 to do up your house you will not complain.
However, if your name and address are disclosed so that your Parking fine
can be collected, you will complain.
