Adrian,

Have been reading an article in Computing, 'EU law stops deep linking to web
sites - Copyright law saves recruitment site stepstone'

The pertinent point about that article, with regard to this debate, was that
it identified that all websites are classed as databases under the EU
copyright and database regulations. This will provide for an ability to
continue control of the data if the site is mirrored, in support of any
necessary DPA data processor type agreement.
