Try putting your own DPA conditions on CV's passed to recruitment agencies.
E.g. retention period.. I had one agency tell me they cannot possibly be
certain of removing data after 6 months as they have no process. Trying to
protect your own privacy is an interesting learning experience. Now what
would happen if everyone tried it......

(A slightly qualified aye only because it will have the indirect result of
encouraging everyone to put P&C on all correspondence, regardless of how
trivial it is.  Recruitment agencies already seem to do this to make you
think their bumf is more important than it really is and it's very
annoying).
