Following our conversation today, I am forwarding you some details on the
Data Protection Conference that we are planning to hold on March 19th next
year. This the third annual event; our members find them an invaluable
resource with updates on the legislation and presentations on how companies
have been complying with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We are currently developing the programme for this event and acquiring
speakers and as we discussed, I'd be grateful if you could ask any of your
members who have experience in the following areas and are interested in
speaking to contact me:
Data transfer: Within, from & to the UK
CRM & subject access
data handling: deletion, suppression, storage & security
Data compliance in the online, catalogue shopping or Call centre industries.
