Paul,

Many members of this group will also be members of other groups, such as
NADPO, SOCITM Data Protection, etc. It doesn't stop there either, members
are from different disciplines; ICT, Legal, Audit etc. Each of these areas
has a number of forums. Add to this the vast number of websites and you get
in a complete mess, your entire day could be taken up by keeping track of
developments.

What we need is a 'one-stop-shop' for all matters relating to the public
sector.

A start on this seems to have been made at http://www.idea.gov.uk/knowledge/

This is a site for everyone - LA's, Education and even interested parties
from the private sector.

With apologies to this group, what is the opinion of members on using this
single area in preference to all the individual ones? Presumably, with
enough interest, the site will start a discussion area for information
related legislation.

Regards
