I would reiterate what Gail is suggesting. A work colleague was turned down
for credit. When she asked for her details, also included were details of
her profligate daughters financial affairs even though her daughter had long
since left home, was married and had a home of her own. She asked me for
advice and I advised she complain to the company and ask for the data to be
removed and when they refused to do this I helped her fill out a DP
assessment claim. She received a reply from the DPC office informing her
that the complaint was one of a number against Experian and would be dealt
with later in the year.
