Hi all For any members interested in the work of the French cultural theorist of technology Paul Virilio, here are a couple of news items concerning recent and forthcoming publications: 1) My colleague and fellow CSL member, Mark A. Featherstone, has recently published a Virilio related article in the e-journal _Anthropoetics 6, no. 2 (Fall 2000 / Winter 2001) entitled: "Speed and Violence: Sacrifice in Virilio, Derrida, and Girard".
