Hi all For any members interested in the work of the French cultural theorist of technology Paul Virilio, here are a couple of news items concerning recent and forthcoming publications: 1) My colleague and fellow CSL member, Mark A. Featherstone, has recently published a Virilio related article in the e-journal _Anthropoetics 6, no. 2 (Fall 2000 / Winter 2001) entitled: "Speed and Violence: Sacrifice in Virilio, Derrida, and Girard". My latest interview with Virilio in _CTHEORY on the Kosovo War has also been translated into Dutch and has recently been published in Antwerp as: "CASUS KOSOVO: OORLOG IN DE DAMPKRING" John Armitage in gesprek met Paul Virilio, in: _AS: MediaTijdschrift_, No. 156, October, November, December, 2000, pages 112-123. 3) I have recently finished editing _Virilio Live. It is currently in production and will be published by Sage/Theory, Culture & Society next August.
