This continuing post will be offered on Lecturer A or B scale from £22,200 to £34,030 or Senior Lecturer scale from £35,619 to £39,976 inclusive of London Allowance.

Applications are invited for a post in the Centre for Human-Computer Interaction Design (www-hcid.soi.city.ac.uk) to contribute to and broaden the current research interests in human-computer interaction, including:

All aspects of cognitive engineering;
Designing systems for disabled and elderly people;
Understanding how to develop socio-technical and interactive systems;
Designing virtual/synthetic environments and multimedia systems;
Creative design processes and environments.

A successful candidate with relevant experience will be encouraged to apply for a Readership.

The Centre is the largest research group in human-computer interaction in London,
with 6 academic staff and over 20 research staff and students.
