Hello, Many have been asking about free Fortran compilers for IA32 (Pentium and such) machines. I just realized that Intel officially released its Fortran compiler and there is also a free noncomercial Linux licence: http://developer.intel.com/software/products/compilers/f50/linux/noncom.htm I am delighted to see that Intel followed the nice example set by Compaq with its Linux Alpha compiler. I have not yet timed this compiler, but I've heard praises from people that have, even for AMD chips...
