Hello,

Many have been asking about free Fortran compilers for IA32 (Pentium and
such) machines. I just realized that Intel officially released its
Fortran compiler and there is also a free noncomercial Linux licence:

http://developer.intel.com/software/products/compilers/f50/linux/noncom.htm

I am delighted to see that Intel followed the nice example set by Compaq
with its Linux Alpha compiler.
I have not yet timed this compiler, but I've heard praises from people
that have, even for AMD chips...

Best,
Aleksandar
