This service, which is free and open to the public, will be the first
celebration in over 500 years of an ancient form of worship originating in
the urban basilicas of Late Antiquity. The reconstruction, made from
medieval sources by Dr. Alexander Lingas (St. Peteršs) and Mr. Ioannis
Arvanitis (Ionian University, Corfu) with the assistance of Archimandrite
Ephrem (Lash), will follow the order of the 10th-century Typikon of the
Great Church.
