POSTGRADUATE ENGLISH: UPDATE Postgraduate English (UK): A Journal and Forum for Postgraduates in English in the UK and Europe. Papers are invited for vol. 3 of this new journal (March 2001). Postgraduates in English in the UK or in any European country are welcome to submit academic papers of up to 7,000 words, which should conform to MLA guidelines in presentation and be of PhD standard to be publishable. These papers will be refereed and should therefore be despatched by January 30th 2001. We also welcome articles of academic journalism on postgraduate issues for our 'Forum' section. We would especially like to gather and publish brief accounts of their teaching experiences from post grads (including such things as teaching tips, things to avoid, etc.). These papers may be less formal as they need not be refereed. The competition ran in the first two issues is now over, and the winner will be announced in issue 3.
