The Religious Archives Group conference on the theme War and Peace: Religion and Attitudes to Modern Armed Conflict is being held at the Methodist International Centre on 15 October 2001. This year the Religious Archives Group Conference will examine aspects of how churches, religious organisations, institutions and the general public have responded to the phenomenon of war in the twentieth century, focusing in particular on their understanding of the reality of armed conflict and the rise of movements for peace.
