Society of Archivists training event in association with the Public Record Office 20 September 2001 - Cardiff Fee: £60 SoA members/ £85 non members includes lunch and refreshments This is the first in a series of workshops to be presented by Susan Healy, Kelvin Smith and Steven Jones of the Public Record Office. The day is aimed at archivists who will be responsible for implementing FoI in their office and records managers who will be responsible for ensuring their organisation's records management conforms to the Lord Chancellor's code of practice. Delegates will be expected to have a basic awareness of the main provisions of the FoI Act, and the presenters will concentrate on key issues and practical aspects of implementation.
