Chair in Statistics

Applications are invited for a full Professorship in Statistics in the
Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
This chair will complement the two existing chairs in the Department
(in Pure and Applied Mathematics).
Applications may be from any field of applied or theoretical
statistics.
Applicants with proven record in applied probability will also be
considered. The University is seeking a scholar with significant
achievements and initiatives in both research and teaching.
Administrative experience and the ability to attract
research/consultancy funding are highly desirable.
The appointee will have strong leadership qualities and experience in
the supervision of doctoral students.
