Our Senior Consultant Geneticist has a family in whom she suspects Carbohydrate Deficient Glycoprotein Syndrome Type 11 (CDGS 11). She has requested isoelectric focussing on transferrin but we're finding it difficult to find somewhere to do it. Has anyone any suggestions for this or any other tests diagnostic of this condition.
