Any thoughts on this one from the surgeons? 52 year old woman admitted on four
occasions over the last 4-5 months with a pseudo-obstruction of the colon. On
each occasion was hypokalaemic at around 2.5 mmol/L. Between admissions is well
 with normal potassiums.

Investigating the low potassium by the usual routes but does any one know of a
link or explanation between the hypokalaemia and the bowel problem?
