Dear eye-movement list members, Please ignore that last housekeeping admin message about changes to your individual memberships. The list is now up and running as [log in to unmask], and (barring minor teething problems) appears to be working well. As the list now runs via LISTSERV software, I have been able to include an email "footer" with all list mail which should cut down the number of requests on how to unsubscribe (see below), a previous cause of irritation to many! If anyone is currently having any problems with the list, please get in touch with me. Finally, one of the benefits for me of the new software is that the software monitors email addresses which are causing errors (thus saving me the legwork!), and automatically deletes people from the membership list after 5 days of successive errors. From my experience of the list at mailbase, this is a little short, so I have asked for it to be increased to 14 days. Please note that if still failing after this time your email address will be deleted from the list (as it would have been on the mailbase list), and (obviously) I will not be able to inform you that this has taken place! As I said in a previous email, I would be grateful to hear of any references to the list or its website which still carry the old "mailbase" address.
