Ex-IMF Head, Michael Cadessus, comes to Oxford to give a talk to
students and others. His talked is titled "What the IMF has learnt" :
the easy answer to this is of course "nothing.
To prevent distortions of the truth and lies being spread, Oxford Global
Action and Others invite you to come to Oxford to protest against the
IMF.
A counter-peoples summit will be held outside the examination halls. We
plan to celebrate localisation and call for resistance against economic
globalisation. Please bring banners, instruments, games, literature and
anything else required to turn this drab talk into a party!
Lets give Cadessus a warm reception in Oxford!
