Hi Just a reminder that the big change over from Mailbase to JISCmail takes place this weekend, going into Monday 27 November. With luck, everything should work smoothly. :-) However, please note... 1. There will be a disruption to the service during this weekend while technical work is carried out. Messages will be delayed but should still be delivered. Please do NOT re-send messages if they have not appeared on this list before Monday. 2. From late Monday (or early Tuesday depending on your timezone) you will be able to send messages and commands to the new list address. This is... [log in to unmask] If you send mail to the old address it will still be delivered (for a while), but you will receive an automated reply telling you to use the new address in future. 3. The commands to join, leave, suspend mail etc. will remain very similar (with the substitution of 'jiscmail' for 'mailbase'). However, it might be a good idea to check the instructions now at... www.jiscmail.ac.uk 4. We will need some help to change any web links that point to the list or list archives. The list web pages will move to a corresponding web location at... www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/disability-research Again, this is a simple substitution of 'jiscmail' for 'mailbase'. The old pages will be 'frozen' today and will continue to be available for some time. All archive material will be copied to the new location where it will continue to grow. Fingers crossed - everything should go according to plan. Here's hoping for a seamless switch over :-) PS. If anything goes wrong, please be patient.
