In an expence account at a high level, the
claimant pays a clerk to remind the Lord Chancellor to put "my Lord's
kewpi to the Bill". I have compared the letters carefully
with others in the handwriting, which is comparatively straightforward, but can
see no other possible transcription. Is this a 17th Cent equivalent to
"OK"?
