Posted on behalf of The Libraries Partnership West Midlands Building a Regional Content Strategy: 4th West Midlands Telematics Conference Friday 27 October 2000 Austin Court, Birmingham "Content is king" - are YOU faced with the challenges of developing electronic content? This premier, regional event addresses the main issues involved in content creation and explores possibilities for a regional approach and strategy. A series of case studies, practical advice, authoritative presentations from across all library sectors in the West Midlands, plus an opportunity for delegates to share knowledge and experience, will produce a day that is lively, stimulating and useful. All for 40 a person (35 for TLP-WM members). The Libraries Partnership - West Midlands is delighted that Lord Matthew Evans, Chair of Resource (the Council for Museums, Archives and Libraries) will be giving the keynote address and mark the creation of a new library broadband network for the region. Programme The morning consists of presentations by chief librarians from Higher Education and Public Library sectors, plus a keynote address by Lord Matthew Evans. These will be followed by 6 workshops with case studies and the opportunity for discussion.
