Could anyone please supply any biographical details of H. Karl Fischer? He wrote the first published criticisms of Max Weber's 'Protestant Ethic' thesis. The first criticism was published in the 'Archiv fuer Sozialwissenschaft und Sozialpolitik', J.C.B.Mohr, Tuebingen, 1907, vol 25, and was entitled 'Kritische Beitraege zu Prof. M. Webers Abhandlung: "Die protestantische Ethik und der Geist des Kapitalismus". A colleague and I need the information for a forthcoming translation. We should be most grateful for any help.
