Two short sessions repeated throughout the day, where practitioners are invited to come and talk about and try out Decision Explorer. Date: Friday 29th September Academic users Come & See Day. Sessions 9.30am - 11.30am, 12.00-2.00pm Venue: Sage Publications, 6, Bonhill Street, London. UK Brief description: A free event for an audience of lecturers, research students and researchers. . Two sessions repeated during the day, where you are invited to come and talk about and try out Decision Explorer. Free demonstration and workbook materials will be available at both events. Decision Explorer is an ideas mapping tool that is used to generate "maps" (networks) of ideas and to pull them together to form a coherent picture of a problem/ situation. In so doing this helps to improve the users' understanding of the situation and the data being studied. It is a "visual thinking" tool, which can be used with information generated by an individual or a group.
