Improving practice in education and training

Starting in October the School of Education and Professional Development will be offering a programme of Continuous Professional Development for people who want to apply Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to learning, teaching and assessment.

The programme will lead to the award of the Advanced Professional Diploma in Educational Development. Delivery will be flexible and will involve significant use of an online learning environment, and attendance will be limited to two evenings (or two days). This award will give credit on our Master's programme in Professional Education or Professional Training and Development.

You should have a basic competence in ICT, you will gain the most benefit from the programme if you have identified a development project using ICT within your role and responsibilities.
