Yes Cliff, CRIME-base Brighton is still very much active and alive. We continue to recruit anonymous critical incidents to the database from all over the world. The URL is http://www.eee.bham.ac.uk/crime We are now in the feedback stage and starting to put up tutorials on preventing critical incidents in a variety of clinical scenarios. As ever we encourage construcive comments on the site. It is hoped that the BAEM executive will endorse the project at its next meeting in November when I will be presenting results there. I also gave a talk on Critical Incident Monitoring at the ICEM in Boston in May a lot of which was based on the results from CRIME-base and would be happy to e-mail you a copy of the powerpoint talk if you wish.
