Volunteer Opportunity in Guatemala · Do you speak Spanish? · Do you have experience of working/vounteering in Latin America? · Are you committed to human rights? If you can answer "yes" to these questions, we may have the opportunity you are looking for. Several significant legal cases are being pursued by Guatemalan human rights groups against high profile influential members of the Guatemalan regime of the early 1980's, for their part in human rights atrocities. As a result, those involved in prosecuting and testifying in the cases could be subjected to intimidation and threats of violence. To support these significant challenges to impunity in Guatemala, the Guatemala Solidarity Network is co-ordinating with various Guatemalan and international human rights groups to organise international accompaniment in Guatemala.
