Dear list members, An interesting discussion has developed amongst our staff following a recent practical exam in which one student chose to measure limb length in standing, rather than in supine lying, as is more commonly the case. A search of the literature has produced conflicting evidence regarding patient positioning for these measurements. We would welcome your opinions on this matter.
