Apologies for cross-posting Call for papers: Women at the Edge: Border crossings, risk and resistance RGS/IBG WGSG session Convened by Tracey Skelton and Parvati Raghuram Department of International Studies Nottingham Trent University Clifton Lane Nottingham NG11 8NS Feminist research has highlighted the gendered nature of political, social, economic and cultural life and the agency of women and girls in engaging with and reconstituting these spheres. They have engaged with various forms of 'risk' in this process. We invite papers which focus on the 'risks' facing those women who cross borders, economic, cultural, social, sexual, physical or others and the choices, decision-making processes and obstacles that such border crossing involves.
