To list,

Let's say everyone in class goes on a picnic, which
may cost some money, say 100 pounds. Let's say the
class is composed of 100 students. It goes without
saying that each student should pay 1 pound as his
contribution for the picnic. Right? Everyone shares
equally. That's perfectly fair.

Let's now say that there's a guy in class that just
won 1000 pounds in a town lottery. Let's now say
that the class president comes up with the bright
idea that the classmate who won the lottery should
shoulder 50% of the picnic cost, amounting to 50
pounds. He urges the class to take a vote, and the
class decides overwhelmingly that 50% of the bill
should be paid by this 1 classmate.

This action then becomes "legal," though NOT just at
all.
This is a clear violation of rights.

DEMOCRACY is the process by which the majority vote
away private property from the minority. It is a
form of "legalized theft."

No majority ever has the right to vote that they
can take away someone else's private property.

This is what is happening all over the world,
whenever you have a Tax system that taxes people
different amounts. I'm not saying that everyone
should be taxed an equivalent say, 300 pounds a year.
A fixed 15% tax on everyone of all incomes is fair
enough. Under such a proposed flat tax system, the
rich will still pay much much more that anyone else.
But at least there's a limit to the extent of
confiscation. But when you tax a millionaire at 50 %
of his million, and a middle classed guy at 10% of his
thousands, then you have a system that "democratically
and legally steals."

that's DEMOCRACY

I strongly believe in a society that helps its people
by providing basic necessities whenever they need it.
Naturally, the poor will use this facility much more
than the rich. That's OK and good. But no society,
and no majority ever has the right to ever confiscate
private property in the disguise of "fair socialized
rates of taxation !!!"
