IPO, Center for User-System Interaction, at the Eindhoven University of
Technology, has established a two-year international Postgraduate Programme
in User-System Interaction, leading to the Master's Degree in Technological
Design. IPO is looking for university graduates interested in working as
user interface specialists in multi-disciplinary design, research and
development teams in industry, business services and government
institutions. Accepted candidates are funded for $50.000, covering tuition
and cost of living in the form of monthly installments.

The programme provides engineers, designers, computer scientists and
behavioural scientists with a professional education in user-system
interaction and a practical training in user-centred design methods.
Students are trained to work in multi-disciplinary teams on projects and
cases in various application domains. Students gain practical experience
working on industrial projects at companies such as Philips, KPN, Lucent,
Ericsson, Baan.

Programme features:
*	Design focus - students receive professional training in
technological design.
*	Practical training - in their second year, students work on a
project in industry or government institution, supervised by staff from the
IPO and the host organisation.
*	Application orientation - students work on assignments and case
studies throughout the programme.
*	Teamwork - students with backgrounds in the engineering, behavioural
and physical sciences work in small multi-disciplinary teams.
*	Cross-cultural and international experience - our students come from
all over the world.
*	Lectures conducted by well-known specialists in the domain of
user-system interaction.

To apply for the USI programme you must have a graduate degree (MSc or
equivalent) in engineering, behavioural science or design (including
computer science, business engineering, mathematics, physics, linguistics,
psychology and cognitive sciences). Applicants with professional
qualifications or practical experience are also welcome.

Applications may be accepted until July 15th, depending on
the availability of places. Applications consist of a letter of application,
extensive curriculum vitae, two letters of recommendation, and certified
copies of diplomas, courses and grades (in Dutch or English).
