The successful candidate will work within the rapidly expanding Data Mining group. It is anticipated that further expansion will occur and applications are invited from all interested candidates. The successful candidate(s) will join an active research team and will be expected to contribute to one of the main foci of the group's research work . (http://www.dur.ac.uk/CompSci/personnel/dmg). These foci are the development of Data Mining algorithms and/or techniques and methods and their application to the solution of `real world problems'.
