As you know, the National Sports Medicine Institute of the United Kingdom is a medical charity that runs a programme of postgraduate education in sports medicine for medical and healthcare practitioners. This programme is run in partnership with another medical charity, the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine. During 2000 we are holding two meetings specifically for the sports medicine diplomates, post-MSc practitioners and special interest groups. Both meetings will be interactive and leading edge. The first meeting will be held in Birmingham 18-19 May and is titled "Screen, Clean and Glutamine". It will be co-chaired by Dr Bryan English and Dr Ralph Rogers. The second meeting will be held in Cambridge on 7-8 December and will concentrate on Tendinopathies and will be co-chaired by Mr Graham Holloway and Dr Cathy Speed. If you would like further details of either/both of these meetings, please get in touch with me. Cheers Barry Hill %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
