Hallo Folks RE: PHYSIO ON SPECIAL CARE BABY UNITS AT LOCAL HOSPITALS Im wanting to review the amount and type of phyiso cover and input we provide to SCBU at our district general. The SCBU team seem to manage very well with hardly any input from us! Having worked in neonatal, paediatric and cardiac intensive care units at a specialised childrens' hospital, i'm aware of what physio can offer. Im also aware that there has been much controversy recently about risks and the questionable safety of chest physio in neonates, with contradictory papers being published by our antipodean colleagues.
