From: Dr Mark Galeotti <[log in to unmask]> Date: Fri, 31 Mar 2000 11:51:35 +0100 (GMT Daylight Time) NEW RESEARCH MPHIL IN SOVIET AND POST-SOVIET CRIME The History Department at Keele University, UK, and its Organised Russian & Eurasian Crime Research Unit (ORECRU) will from the academic year 2000-2001 be offering a one-year research-based MPhil in Soviet and Post-Soviet Crime. Students will carry out personal research for a 35,000 word dissertation, supervised by Dr Mark Galeotti, the director of ORECRU, and other staff as and when appropriate, and also may choose to take a taught research training course (approved by the Economic & Social Research Council). Consideration will also be given to research areas outside the former USSR on a case-by-case basis.
