Nipon Foundation Grants NIPPON FOUNDATION The Nippon Foundation provides aid to projects in four major categories: public welfare in Japan; voluntary programs in Japan; maritime and ship-related projects; and overseas cooperative assistance. In its international chapter, Nippon Foundation gives grants to programs planned and conducted by international non-profit organizations in areas such as basic human needs, human resources development, and promotion of global cooperation.
