Hello,
I strongly recommend that you contact Francine Odette, who lives here in
Toronto.  Over the past decade, Fran has done alot of work (for the
Disabled Women's Network -DAWN- of Toronto, DAWN Ontario, and DAWN
Canada) and has written alot on disabled women and violence and abuse. 
She is currently working (with Tanis Doe, I think) on a project on
disabled women for Education Wife Assault here in T.O. Fran's email is
