If my memory serves me correctly, in a film by Steve Martin Fellini's dramatic image of an aircraft carrying a cross over the city is replaced by a helicopter transporting a sign for a fast food restaurant or similar. In a recent interview the author of the film wished to underline that this was a very deliberate parody of the film director from Rimini.
