Greetings All .. I'm a doctoral student planning to do content analysis (on selected social work journal articles) on social work practice interventions used regarding disabled individuals. The subject-focus categories will be disabled individuals (including all uni-disabled groups) and families with a disabled member. I'm currently trying to track down authors, who have done similar content analysis of journal articles focusing on minority groups of color, to have a look at their coding instruments. My question to this group: Is any one aware of content analysis coding instruments used related to disabilities? I'm open to reviewing instruments which are social work related as well as instruments from allied fields. If you have leads, I would greatly appreciate information on any references or authors that I could contact for further information.
