SORRY FOR CROSS POSTING!

We are looking at providing a public email service for registered library users
sometime in the not to distant future, and one of the issues (amongst many!)
that we have to address is the nature of the disclaimer which we propose to
automatically put on the bottom of each email sent.

We suspect that what we're after is something along the lines of:

"We provide this service to our users, we take reasonable measures to ensure
that it is legal, decent, honest and truthful, but ultimately we're not
responsible for the content"

Or words to that effect!

However, there may be others out there who have done this, and can offer
guidance, or can point to archives on this or other lists where this has been
covered.

If you can do that, all contributions gratefully accepted!

Regards

John
