The successful candidate will provide research leadership in their own field, will help to foster the work of existing research teams, and will make a significant contribution to relevant areas of teaching. We value inter-disciplinary research and have excellent collaborative links with the School of Computer Science and Information Technology, the Medical School, the School of Education, the School of Social Studies, the Business School and the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Centre in the School of Physics which houses one of the few 3T scanners in this country. Lecturer in Psychology The School is seeking a successful researcher to appoint to a vacant lectureship. Candidates in any areas of the discipline that would complement our existing research will be considered. The School has strong research traditions in artificial intelligence, cognitive psychology, and the developmental aspects of the psychology of learning, and is also looking to extend its research in neuropsychology and neuroscience. The School also prides itself on the quality of its teaching and the successful candidate will be expected to play an active role in teaching and administration.
