EUROPEAN LEARNING STYLES INFORMATION NETWORK (ELSIN) 5th Annual Learning Styles Conference Business School, University of Hertfordshire Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th June 2000 The Annual Learning Styles Conference is organised by the European Learning Styles Information Network (ELSIN) and aims to give researchers and practitioners the opportunity to share their work, explore common interests and form links for collaborative research. The conference will include theoretical, methodological and empirical contributions on the following themes: · international comparative studies of style · theory and measurement of style · style and new learning technologies · style and managerial and organisational cognition · style and human resource development · the policy implications of individual differences in style. This year, the Conference will include a keynote contribution from Adrian Furnham, Professor of Psychology at the University of London. The full registration fee is £195 and includes accommodation and conference dinner (26 June) refreshments (26 & 27 June) and conference documentation, which will include refereed proceedings. Attendance is also possible on a daily basis at £85, which includes refreshments and conference documentation. If you wish to present there are two possible formats: · full paper sessions (40 minutes) · shorter, less formal sessions (for example, workshops, reporting work in progress) Abstracts should be no more than 500 words.
