Hi! Could anybody guide me how we can easily understand the luminescence dating? Well, I was trying to find some references for the dating tool but I could not. Also the terminology is not so easy to understand, i.e., dose-dependent optically stimulated luminescence. What I would like know is 1. basic principle 2. what kinds of geologic material is appropriate for dating by the TL/OSL 3. how we can stimulate samples for OSL 4. how the data comes and how we can get ages. I will greatly appreciate if somebody show how it is and/or recommend the proper references.
