Some of you may already have seen this on other lists (so apologies to you),
but hope this is of interest to some who haven't seen merl's message before.
Last year's dayschool was a great success and the solid mix of activists,
academics and those who wear both hats was particularly attractive.  Hope to
see some of you there on the 5th.
