Dear all,

Can anyone advise on relative dating using the fluorine content of bone? I would like to ascertain as to whether a human and an animal burial are contemporary. This is not clear in the archaeology, they both happen to be in the same hole on a very muddled site!  Would this method prove non-association? Does anyone use it? Could it be useful to assess residuality? Would there be a better indicator? Lots of questions, sorry!

Regards, Ray Thirkettle.
