Two one-day conferences for further education colleges organised  
by NILTA and ALT with support from FEDA.

PRE-REQUISITES 

Participants are requested to bring information about their own  
colleges' ILT strategies for the afternoon discussion. 

TARGET GROUP 

The conference will set out to assist with the production of ILT  
strategy for the FE sector and is likely to be of interest to those  
seeking to develop their ILT strategies.  It will give guidance to  
individual colleges to help them produce their own ILT strategies.  
At all times our presenters will be willing to share their experience  
and enable delegates to benefit from their knowledge of the  
production and implementation of ILT in their own colleges. 

The presentations will be supported by group discussions on the  
implementation of best practices by its inclusion in actual ILT  
strategies.  There will also be opportunities for delegates to mix  
and network.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS 

Bob Powell is Head of Further Education at BECTa and led the  
FERL team in carrying out the FEILTC ILT survey. Markos Tiris is  
the manager of the QUILT (Quality in Information and Learning  
Technology) at FEDA and is managing a number of aspects of the  
developments associated with the National Learning Network.
