Please pardon this last minute intrusion in requesting your participation in the 2000 Winter Simulation Conference to be held December 10--13, 2000, in the Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida (home of the dimpled chad). The web site is: http://www.wintersim.org for all information on the conference. Computer simulation is being touted as many things, including a "third way of doing science" and "a new learning environment for the 21st century." Almost every talk we attend includes something about simulation. To see and hear about simulation first hand, from the leading-edge experts and practitioners, the place to be is in Orlando (home of simulation, training and simulation) and at the Wyndham. There are many firsts: 1) KidSim, 2) SimMedia, 3) Internet Cafe, and 4) Sunday afternoon special tutorials and seminars (free) in addition to 14 technical tracks. Please come and join us!
