Below is notification of a forthcoming STEMPRA meeting with the title:
 
Science & Society: Mutual Understanding?
 
The meeting will draw together the "Jenkin" Science and Society Report and the Office of Science and Technology-Wellcome Trust investigation into public attitudes to science. The purpose is to explore ways that organisations can use these two reports to further develop their communication strategies. Registration details are at the foot of the note.

A STEMPRA Meeting at The Institute of Physics on Thursday 5 October, 13.30-18.00

Is the House of Lords Select Committee's "Science and Society" report the new "Bodmer"?

Does the OST-Wellcome Trust investigation of public attitudes  - the first attempt to unravel factors that make up attitudes to science - tell us anything new or help us respond to "Science and Society"?
