about what I show to others."
Well that just about puts those of us who earn a living
through their writing into perspective. As a journalist I
always think that most people believe we are just filling in the
spaces between the adverts with trivia.
But as someone who also often listens to this argument from
students I find a really solid deadline works wonders on a persons writing
ability. The quality of a piece is something I find emerges in the
rewrites and the editing and I don't think blocks of any sort stop that
process.
