Kray reading Frost reminds me of Auden's delight when he met a New York
prostitute who quoted approvingly his line which said "A person can live
with out love, but no-one can live without water." (Probably misquoted - no
copy to hand.)

It's the job of a poet to speak to fallen humanity, and the poet with
nothing to say to the Krays or the prostitutes probably isn't worth reading.
